For the past few years, Odegaard Wings has taken on rebuilding F4U Corsair tail sections. This American fighter aircraft saw service primarily in WWII and the Korean War.

 

Derek, our master welder/sheet metal extraordinaire, is the one who does most of the work on these projects. He repairs the parts that are salvageable, and scratch builds the rest. The following pictures show you some of the work that has been done to the tail sections.
